A little on our Keynote Speakers

We recently announced who our keynote speakers would be, and I would like to spend a little time giving you some idea of who they are and what their key goals in research are.

Professor Heather Goad

Heather is a senior member of the McGill linguistics faculty and has been with us since 1992, being an associate professor for over ten years now. Her research focuses on the acquisition of phonology, but she covers prosodic structure, morphological acquisition as well as phonology proper.

You can read more at her personal website.

Dr. Meghan Clayards

A relatively new addition to the McGill Linguistics team, Meghan's focus is within a more theoretical idea of phonetics. She researches speech perception, word recognition and acoustic phonetics.

You can read more at her personal website.
